iComGam is led by researchers, trainers and advisors who bring their own scholarship and industry experience into the study of gamification, media effects, and communication.
Founder, iComGam
Dr. Sanjana Rahman completed her PhD at Universiti Putra Malaysia, where her research focused on Media Effects and Behavioural Insights — work central to understanding how media shapes behaviour in contemporary society. Her background spans journalism, TVC production, and corporate communication, alongside communication-for-development work with CARE Bangladesh and others.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) in 2013, she led a game-based learning project that won an award at Universiti Putra Malaysia's Teaching and Learning Innovation competition. As founder of iComGam, she leads the institute's work advancing game-based learning, behavioural science, media effects and communication strategy — bridging research and practical application in line with UN SDGs 4, 8 and 9.
Consultant, Machine Learning & AI
Completed her PhD in Project Management at Universiti Putra Malaysia, specialising in AI and machine learning, with doctoral research on energy management in the electrical power industry — finishing with a perfect CGPA of 4.00/4.00. Holds a Master of Engineering Management (UPM) and an MBA in Marketing (University of Dhaka), with publications in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews and IEEE Access, and is a certified Train the Trainer (HRD Corp Malaysia).
Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of St Xavier's College Kolkata with a Bachelor of Commerce in finance, Sunnyat began his career as a Finance Analyst at Chittaranjan Locomotive Works before moving into entrepreneurship. Over the past eight years he has built his own company in the Information Technology sector, and more recently has been active in the Indian financial markets.
Communications Expert
A lecturer at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) specialising in Mass Communication and Journalism, where she completed both her BSS and MSS with top honours, and is currently pursuing an MA in Educational Leadership and Societal Change at Soka University of America. She previously researched Constructive Journalism at DW Akademie and served as an assistant Gender Analyst at the Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation, and writes features for The Daily Star Bangla.
